Prep the Wall Surface and Remove Plates
Shut off power to all countertop outlets and unscrew faceplates. Wash the entire wall area thoroughly with a degreasing cleaner to remove grease, dust, and residue. Let the surface dry completely before proceeding.

Establish the Plumb and Level Baseline

Trim the Starter Edge
Inspect your interlocking tile pattern and locate the jagged or overlapping starting side. This flat side will sit flush against the corner or cabinet edge.

Align and Adhere Initial Tiles
Peel back 1 to 2 inches of the backing paper from the top corner of the starter tile without touching the adhesive.
