๐ Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Excavate Foundation and Pool Basin
Mark out a 6x8 foot perimeter for the villa and adjoining pool using stakes and string. Dig the foundation perimeter trench 8 inches deep and carve out the pool basin bowl to a depth of 14 inches. Tamp down the bare earth firmly across the entire excavated floor until solid.

Pour a 3-inch layer of concrete over the mesh, smoothing it flat with a trowel while maintaining a gentle slope toward the pool drain.

Ensure the slab extends 4 inches past the wall to create an exterior cantilevered balcony.

Apply a 1/4-inch smooth finish plaster coat over all exposed brick and pool surfaces. Once fully dry, paint the pool basin and slide channel with two coats of waterproof pool sealant.
