Unplug Unit and Map the Leak Location
Unplug the refrigerator from the wall. Inspect whether water is pooling inside the bottom crisper drawers, dripping directly beneath the front doors, or running across the floor behind the unit. Place towels down around the perimeter to catch pooling runoff.

Flush the opening with warm water and vinegar using a turkey baster until water drains freely without backing up.

Inspect and Clean Door Gaskets

Close the door on a dollar bill at multiple points around the perimeter; if the bill pulls out freely without resistance, warm the gasket with a hairdryer to reshape it, or replace the gasket.

Locate the plastic drain pan mounted above or beside the compressor at the rear bottom of the unit. Check the pan for hairline cracks, severe mold build-up, or tilt that causes condensate to spill over the edge before evaporating. Clean the tray, ensure the drain hose feeds directly into the center of the pan, and adjust front leveling legs if the fridge leans forward.
