📋 Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Dry Fit the Shards
Arrange all broken fragments on a flat surface without adhesive to verify how they fit together. Determine the exact assembly sequence starting with the largest base pieces first. Note any tiny missing gaps or interlocking edges before applying glue.

Clean the Fracture Edges
Dampen a cotton swab or lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol and wipe down every fracture line thoroughly. Remove all dust, grease, and loose ceramic powder from the mating surfaces. Allow the alcohol to air-dry completely for 60 seconds.

Mix the Two-Part Epoxy
Dispense equal parts resin and hardener onto a disposable mixing surface. Stir thoroughly with a wooden craft stick for at least 45 to 60 seconds until the mixture is uniform and streak-free. Prepare only as much adhesive as you can apply within the epoxy's working time.
- • Epoxy is completely blended into a clear, uniform liquid with no unmixed swirls.
- • Under-mixing the resin and hardener, resulting in sticky, uncured joints.
Apply Adhesive and Join Fragments
Use the edge of a craft stick to apply a thin, even layer of epoxy along one side of the fracture. Press the matching pieces firmly together until excess adhesive beads slightly at the seam. Wiggle the joint microscopically to eliminate air pockets and ensure complete flush contact.

Secure with Tape and Support
Apply strips of painter's tape tightly across each seam perpendicular to the break line to maintain pressure. Leave the assembly undisturbed for the full curing duration specified by the epoxy manufacturer.

Clean Excess Adhesive Residue
Wait until the epoxy reaches a firm, rubbery stage (or full cure), then carefully peel off the painter's tape. Hold a fresh razor blade at a low 15-degree angle against the glaze and gently shave away cured epoxy squeeze-out along the seam. Wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth.
